Sheets of red and blue acetate (available at art supply stores)

Steps
Cut out the sample pattern (including eyeholes) for your 3D glasses and tape the sides to the center section. You now have your stencil for the actual glasses.
Trace the stencil on the oaktag or sturdy poster board. Cut the glasses out making sure to also cut out the eyeholes.
Tape the red (left) and blue (right) acetate pieces to cover the eyeholes. Make sure to cut the acetate pieces a little larger than the opening for the eyes. DO NOT get tape on parts of the acetate visible through the eyehole.

How to make 3d glasses - Easy Step-by-step guide for Dummies

can we make 3D anglyph glasses at home by using colored gilletin papers?

To view 3D anaglyph images/photos on internet or DVD we need anaglyph glasses red at left and blue at right. Is it possible to make these spectacles using red and blue colored gilletin paper available in the market or any other easy wat to make them at home?

You should be able to use almost any suitable red and blue filter (gelatin, cellophane, vinyl) that matches the red and blue of the original production. You have a lot of leeway.

I recently bought a pair of glasses from a company called Illusion Eyewear. They are really comfortable designer 3D glasses. I suggest you check them out.. They are a little more expensive, at around $30, but they are high quality.. I thought they would actually be more since they are both sunglasses and 3D glasses. Looks like the future is upon us:)
