is it possible to make augmented reality by yourself? what do i need to make one?
Is it possible, yes. Probably very difficult.
You would probably need a high end computer/server, be well versed in programming, c++ would probably be the best choice, and have a lot of knowledge in video/graphics manipulation in that programming language.
If you are thinking to use it in a video game, ignore the server portion, you'll probably want the camera pointed at a static image, like the mat used in Eye of the Beholder for PS3, and be prepared for a LOT of hard programming by yourself.

Lego Augmented Reality
Does anyone know where I can get some good augmented reality games?
I have an iphone 3GS and want to get some augmented reality apps for it. Does anyone know of any good apps? I've been through the itunes store but have a suspicion I'm not seeing the full listings (I'm pretty new to all this itunes and iphone stuff). I'd love to find some sort of augmented reality zombie shooter, but don't know where I'd get them from. I've seen one which I'd like to find - ARhrrrr zombies, but can't find this on itunes. Am I restricted to apps from itunes? or can I get them from elsewhere? if so, then where from?
Just go to "App Store" icon on your phone and search. A good zombie shooter game that was FREE that I downloaded was the COD5-World at War Zombies LITE. If you're on your PC, then search the app, it'll usually show if you search it.
