Computer Virtual Reality Should we be able to act out our illegal fantasies in a virtural reality enivornment?
What if we could act out our sexual fantasies in a virtual reality environment? What if we could molest a ten year-old, rape a Catholic schoolgirl, or tie a famous actress/singer to our bed by programming a computer to simulate reality? Is it wrong to do so? As technology advances, we should ask ourselves this question now before such hypothetical scenarios become reality.
"Illegal" is usually what is not acceptable by general individual and society. This legal tangle isn't attached with ones fantasies. Each one of us acts or realizes his fantasies up to some or the other extant in our fantasies, our dreams, our thoughts, our writings, on the computer, in the games, in the chat-rooms and so on.
In that sense we are more or less able to act out our fantasies...legal or illegal, it is not very harmful until it affects your general behavior or turns you into a paranoid.

Is it scientifically possible that the universe could be similar to a computer generated virtual reality.....?
....world created by beings superior to us or even created by us, so trying to make sense of it would be comparable to a computer character in one of our own computer games trying to understand pixels, programming and binary code etc??
gutbucket is right, there is no evidence for that theory. However, it is technically possible, and theoretically more likely than a supernatural god.
yes I have and it is actually pretty cool. although the system i used is still a little buggy and not as fast as it needs to be to be actually feasible. The system i used was a pair of glasses that you could wear while doing mathematical computations, that would superimpose the process of finding the solution over the written work that you write on a normal sheet of paper. The device was big, bulky,and slow but got the job done as it promised. The device is now on display a few times a week at Innovations in Epcot, at the Walt Disney world resort. You will probably find it in the XEROX exhibit
