do U.S. military helicopters use head up displays?


Do they still or did they ever used to? I'm thinking of a partial glass HUD similar to the types used in F-16's. Not the new Elbit helmet mounted displays. specifically military aircraft.

No. The Apache uses IHAADSS. The HUD display is in the monocle on the helmet.

The AH-1Z uses the TopOwl HMSD and the HUD is in the visor of the helmet.
