Where can i buy a HMD?
I want to buy a HMD (head mounted display) . That i can hook up to my computer. I want to play it with the .hack online game at CyberConnects.com. Please don't say Ebay or suggest a place like, Amazon.com, without giving a link to the item 
There are lots of places that sell HMDs. If you are asking for buying from a local store, you will have to indicate where you live. If you want to buy online, there are a lot of options. You're going to have to tell me your budget before I can recommend anything in particular. These things can get very pricey very fast. I've always wanted one, but I could never afford a quality HMD. Take a look on some of these sites to get an idea of what you want. From some of the sites, you can even buy the product from their online stores.

Can I have real time video as a desktop wallpaper?
I am building a wearable computer and i want to use HD display glasses for it and attempt to simulate a heads up display using a small camera mounted on the side of the headgear. Is there a way to have the feed from said camera as my wallpaper? I am currently using windows vista for this project but if i can do this in ubuntu i will switch over. i just am more familiar with windows.
Not as wallpaper, no. Ubuntu can't even do that.

We have been working on a Head-Mounted Display (HMD) compatible with the PS3 and Xbox360 since 2005. We are almost there (lots of technical challenges) and we are also using the HDMI connector to display stereo 3D. The added advantages over a HDTV set is that we do some head-tracking and it's much more immersive than a TV.
It's good news to see new games out there that can do stereoscopy on the Xbox360 and PS3. We should launch our HMD next year so stay tuned by visiting for updated infos.
