Video recording devices for deployments?

Alright I am leaving for Afghanistan this October. Our primary mission as Engineers is going to be route clearance. What I need help with is choosing a durable method of recording either by head-cam or something that I can mount elsewhere on the vehicles we will be in. The other thing is that it needs to be rather durable and be able to withstand a few blasts here and there. Thanks for reading I just really want to record some of the times I am out. Oh! another thing that would be awesome is if the device runs off of normal batteries rather than having to charge it because I would hate to have it die in the middle of some situations. thanks!

Your unit might issue you a helmet cam, but other than that you'll have to stick with a regular camcorder or something, unless you feel like paying 3x more for a ruggedized camera.

But if you do get a camera, remember OPSEC and don't be that guy who takes pictures during a medevac mission.

What 80's song has a music video set inside an old house?

I remember the house had a bunch of antiques (maybe a suit of armor, I'm pretty sure there was a mounted moose head on the wall).

All the antiques and objects in the room were singing and moving to the music around the singer, who I think was sitting in front of the fireplace. I can't remember any lyrics, or the name, but I remember the melody in the chorus (not that that helps)

I think RoVale is right. Here's the link:

I would definitely suggest you take it to court. Make sure you have several photos to show. One, a picture of the car from an angle showing the license plate with the driver's door open. Second, a picture of how the seat belts are mounted. Third, have your wife sit in the driver's seat with her seat belt on and take a picture back about 6 feet and at window level (as the officer would most likely see as he passes by). Then, fourth, take a picture with the driver's door open and your wife seated with the seat belt on.

If what you say above is true, I'm confident the citation will be dismissed.
Good luck! Lastly, whatever you do, stay calm and courteous to the Judge.

If you go with the shallow mount subs I would recommend the Kicker, I my personal opinion I don' t normally recommend shallow mounts especailly the cheaper varities , I would recommend sticking to a quality driver with a mounting depth under 6" that will excel in small sealed enclosures like the Kicker L5/L7 10" , RE audio SR/SE 10", Image Dynamics ID series, etc.
As you can see I typically recommend 10" drivers for single cab trucks
