Have not found an Edmonton retailer who sells these. Have found an awesome online retailer who sells 31 different ones for $6.62 Canadian and min. shipping costs. While this information may not get you the glasses in time for your dance you might want to keep the website for another time.

I have searched the stores at West Ed and haven't found any. If there are any in Edmonton I haven't found them to date but if I do I will post it here for you.

Well any tv or monitor can do frame sequential 3d(format that uses shutter glasses). 2 problems, refresh rate and someone making a frame sequential system that will work with your screen. If the refresh rate gets below 100hz you get a flickering effect because it is getting to slow for 2 eyes. So they most likely won't make a system for these screens. Back in the early 1990's you could get a system for the old crt tube televisions that were 100hz. Amazon still sells these systems.
As of now there are only 2 frame sequential systems that I know of right now. Nvidia has one for computer screens but it only works with 3d ready monitors. Then Mitsubishi has one for all its ready made 3d televisions sold between 2007 and 2009. Those 2 plus the ones at amazon for crt's are the only ones out that I know of right now.
As 3d gets more exposure more systems will probably be made. Right now I would say you are out of luck. Sorry.
