I just got my first iPod.... It's a Nano. I downloaded itunes, and put a cd on a playlist. When I plug the ipod into the computer, it connects as a camera and Adobe picture viewer pops up. When I click Sync, it says it is syncing to my ipod but there is no music on my ipod. Help? I think I'm doing something wrong.
When your iPod is plugged in does a window come up asking how to display? Or did it ever like the first time? On a PC that's what mine does. I always close out that window and I have it set up so that it asks. Doesn't choose how to open a device.
Try sitting your music up in playlists. Highlight the album Click on Files click on Make playlist from selection. Now trying syncing and see if the music shows on the iPod.
If not one more suggestion. With your iPod connected click on the icon for the iPod in the left hand list. Then Click on the tab that says Music. See if anything is checked. You can elect to sync all your music or just certain ones...

Help with my ipod movie viewer?
when i try to watch a movie or video all it says is "TV out enabled please connect video accessory" please help p.s. its those little square ipod nanos
go to Videos>Settings>>TV Out and make sure that setting is turned off. hope this help, if it doesn't let me know.
