   Joyce: I thought this was a fun read as well, and will definitely appeal to adolescents who are into video games and virtual reality games. It is true: there is a book out there for everyone!

   I thought Janine was a very clever character and I am really glad she was a girl. I think in far too many games women are objectified and portrayed as merely sex objects. However, not in this game, as the actual game was set in the past, although the book is set in the future. I think teenage girls will find it empowering that the protagonist is a female character and that she faces several challenges that essentially determine her fate. Sorry, no spoilers here either..!! Also, this book could be read across a range of ages and grades. The language is fairly easy and although the plot is complex at time, it is still understandable.

   my game would be like you start out as a kid then like 3 days later ur a teen and u choose ur life to go to skool or cut do drugs or not u kno like a real life game and when u get to adult hood u can move and llive anywere u want by getting money by mugging people stelaing people racing and working if u go to jail u could stay for as long as the judge says which would be like 2 day but in the game its like 2 years depending on wat u do it will be called "LIFE"

   Others may share your concerns, but I think that in today's world, virtual reality has somehow worked its way into our lives. Whether its virtual home systems or flight simulators like you mention, it appears that many of us are able to enjoy engaging in something that we would normally never get to experience. I guess it depends on what you're looking to achieve by experiencing virtual reality games.
