11.08.07 -- 11:32PM President Plays Virtual SoldierSo the President was down in San Antonio today, visiting the rehab center at Brooke Army Medical Center, where lots of wounded Iraq War vets go for further treatment. As is usually the case in these kinds of visits, the President took a tour, shook some hands, and gave a speech. But we got a hold of a copy of the pool report of the visit, and the President apparently also got a chance to play a little virtual soldier on his tour:Bush saw a number of cutting edge virtual reality games that allowed recovering soldier to simulate riding a car or boat. One game simulated shooting in a Baghdad neighborhood, a game she said POTUS participated in with two other soldiers there and helped shoot the bad guys, at least virtually. That must have been quite a scene. I wonder how it went over.--David Kurtz]]>

Do not join her online that will only reinforce her staying online. Instead you have to do it the hard way and figure out something she will like better than being online and use that to get her off. If you know her well enough you should be able to think of something to lure her away for and afternoon. IMVU is apparently a virtual chat program and although I couldn't say for sure she probably just needs to get out of the house and work on her self esteem to the point where she will probably realize actual socializes beats online.
If you succeed to this point I'd say all the other pieces will fall into place and she will take better care of herself and her child since It's hard to be happy with yourself if you think your living conditions are poor and that your being irresponsible.
Whatever you do make sure NOT to insult her in how she spends her time or insult the program she uses. Positive reinforcement will work allot better here than negative so she can manage to have a good time where ever she goes she will will continue doing so with a little pushing at first.
