Detailed explanation of what is free and what isn't free on ps3 home? do we get confirmations before purchase?

I have been to ps3 store many times to buy movie rentals. I am prompted two or three time about paying money. I got on the ps3 home free virtual reality thing they have and I am now becoming very unsure of myself. I would like to know if it is as black and white purchasing something in the video game as going to the store and purchasing rentals online? Are the mini games free? when do I know I am purchasing something? what should I know about the free stuff to take advantage of in ps3 home?

When you are in Home, all the Mini Games which are in Home spaces, are free, games like the Poker in the EA space, or any other game or space related mini- game. All the public spaces in Home are free. Some of the private apartments are not free, but it will be clear when you click on them if there is a price. If you click to download something which is not free, it will show you the price of the item.

When you go to the shopping mall, and want to download some clothing for instance, click on the item, and look on the screen, you will see either a price such as $1.99 or if it says $0.00 then it is free.

If there is a price to be payed for an item, it will always ask you to confirm your purchase, so you will be able to clearly see if there is a price, or if it says $0.00 :)

The thing I can think of that fits with your description is the Sims. But there is also an online City called Second Life. The website is http://www.secondlife.com . I think it fits your description but I'm not sure about setting up businesses
