Any tips on stimulating a class discussion?


I am taking a Seminar in Psychology. For an assignment, I am required to stimulate a class discussion for 30 to 45 minutes. The topic of my discussion is Virtual Reality for Training Purposes.

I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has any tips on how to really engage my audience and how to stimulate my classmates to contribute to the discussion.

Try including a few questions where you ask the group to vote on something - maybe ask them to show their opinion for/against something by a show of hands. Then you can call on someone who raised their hand for either response and ask them to elaborate on their opinion.

    well no considering i don't know many teenage guys without abs, or that aren't close to it .
