My options are:
Sony Alpha A230L Black 10MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm Standard Zoom lens
Nikon D3000 Black DSLR Camera Kit w/ 18-55mm Lens (Non VR), Includes Nikon Camera Bag
or a
Fujifilm FinePix S1600 12MP Digital Camera Bundle w/ 15x Optical Zoom, 3" LCD Display, Image Stabilization, Includes 4GB SDHC Card, Camera Case, 100 Bonus Prints Offer
The Fujifilm is cheapest but includes more with the bundle, and the Nikon is most expensive with less in the bundle...
which overall would be my best choice?
The dSLRs are the Sony A230 and the Nikon D3000. Both will take excellent images.
Simply hold them and choose the one that you like in your hands. It honestly is that simple a choice.
Forget reviews and specifications, at this level of budget the single most important thing about buying a dSLR is how it feels in YOUR hands.
The Cellport 3000-VR connected to the back of the radio via the connection ports. I believe the connection was the MUTE line on the back of the radio. It sounds like that line is getting shorted out somehow which is why your radio is freaking out.
If you have the Cellport 3000 installed but don't use it, then I would bring your car into the dealership and ask them to remove it. Otherwise pull out the radio, find the lines that come from the Cellport (should be two wires), cut them and put tape over the ends so they don't short out.

Hope that helps.
